On the photo upload you will see a statement from the site saying the photo downloader supports jpeg. gif. and png files. We have learned that pdf files need to be loaded as an attachment either on a forum entry or blog post. Unfortunately you must then click the attachment to open the file. I know you convert pdf to the other formats, but I not teckkie advanced enough to know how to do that. Do you have any computer experts available?
Hi Susan, If you look on page 3 of the photos here you will see the formation of the 306th BG on 10/14/43. Cole's plane is #18, end of formation, bottom right. I am sending the MACR (missing air crew record) as an attachment in an e-mail message to you. It is from the site Fold 3. There is a membership fee for the site, and I can't remember how much it is. Another good resource is http://forum.armyairforces.com/. No charge, but you need to register. Tracey Jackson here on our site is a good resource for Stalag 17b. Her Dad was in the 305th and she has contacts with other "Kreigie Kids" A sister site to ours is www.stalag17b.ning.com. It looks like this site. www.306bg.org is a good site with lots of pictures (no captions) but I have been waiting 3 years for the Schweinfurt records to be posted. Please do not hesitate to ask questions on the site. If you have any photos please feel free to post them also
