Hi Shelly, Glad you are able to join us here. I am the educational director for SSMA and manage our network here. If you have any questions at all about our organization please do not hesitate to ask. The second Schweinfurt raid included airmen from 16 different bomb groups. Our membership also includes many European members who provide vital links to aircraft lost that day. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is to help family members put together the pieces of what happened to their loved ones - those who were killed in action, those who were POWs, and those who found it difficult to share the horror of what they saw October 14, 1943.
