The second Schweinfurt raid will be representative for the 8th AF in the Boeing Pavilion expansion of the National WWII museum in New Orleans that will be dedicated 11/2012. We are also on Facebook. A good friend of my son lives in Greenville. He went to East Carolina University, played baseball, and recently was named director of operations for the baseball team. His name is Austin Homan. We live in State College, PA and I work as a reference assistant in the Paterno library at Penn State. My father was seriously wounded on this mission and the preservation of the story of this mission has become the focus for us "kids".
