Hi Gordy, Somehow I thought you were already on here. I often receive requests from families of this mission inquiring how to found out what happened when their airman was shot down. This is why I joined Bill Doubledee's NING site and liked it so much that he was my mentor in developing the SSMA site and why I requested to join the K Kids site. Even though my Dad made it back to England (306th/369th) he was severely wounded and required 17 months in the hospital. He passed in 2007.
If you find anyone associated with Black Thursday please send them this way. We also have German friends who assist us with crash sites. As a matter of fact we just located a family member that we have been trying to find for years.
